Dear Parents, Sons and Daughters: Welcome to the Site. The site brings to you the charitable activities of the Trust which has been set up in memory of Late Shreeram Radhakrishnan ( Son of Mr. Ramaswami Radhakrishnan and Mrs. Lalitha Radhakrishnan), who left this planet earth for heavenly abode on the 3rd of December 2012 after a brief journey on this earth. A journey, the first eighteen years of which brought happiness and joy to all who came in contact with Shreeram and the last eighteen months was a period of extreme suffering the kind of which one wouldn’t want even one’s enemy to undergo.
The Trust was incorporated on 23rd October 2014. The first activity of the Trust was carried out in the month of January 2014.

Why help the not-so-fortunate?

Assisting the less fortunate benefits both the recipients and helpers. We must make the most of our time on this planet and use our power to make a positive impact on others. Helping the underprivileged eases their struggles and shows that we care about their well-being. Those with more resources have a responsibility to help the less fortunate, and contributing to the betterment of society is our duty. When we all do our part, we can make a significant impact on the world we live in. The Public Charitable Trust was established in memory of Shreeram with the intention of providing assistance to those in need. By doing so, we can inspire others to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Helping the less fortunate creates a more compassionate and caring society for all.

If after our death we were to meet God, God will not ask us what wealth we accumulated during our journey on the earth but he surely will ask – what we did with that wealth? Let us all open our hearts and do our bit. Our bit to make this planet a better place by helping the underprivileged. It is these small bits of help, donations, that have the potential and power of ushering in a transformation. All the activities of our Trust are covered in the website along with some photographs. 

Vision

1) To enable and sustain the dreams of needy aspiring young minds by providing them financial assistance to pursue their education , opening free coaching centres, Shikshaangans, for the underprivileged students, working towards spreading Science & Computer knowledge amongst the underprivileged, empower ladies by conducting Vocational Courses and work towards upgrading Rural Schools.


2) To spread awareness of the menace of TB in India and how to prevent it’s spread.

Mission

A) EDUCATION :

1) Provide educational financial assistance to the determined less fortunate & underprivileged students of the society and enable them to further pursue their education.

2) Set up Shikshaangans (Free Coaching Centres) for Underprivileged Students, as a part of our charitable activity, where they will be provided academic coaching and opportunities for their all-round development (through personal interaction, counseling, confidence building measures, making them feel that people care by – celebrating various functions with them, providing them the necessary educational aids and other necessary requirements) .

3) To start Science & Technology Clubs to inculcate the spirit of scientific enquiry.

4) Computer Literacy Drive for the Municipal school & other needy students.

5) To recognize meritorious students.

6) Upgrading Schools in rural areas.

7) Conduct socially relevant campaigns like Drug abuse, workshop for adolescent girls, etc

8) To conduct Vocational & Skill Development Courses.

B) MEDICAL :

1) Conduct sustained campaigns through the use of Pamphlets, Videos, Street Plays, Competitions, Seminars and through social media to spread the message as well as to urge and motivate people to fight against menace of the spread of Tuberculosis.

2) Provide medical assistance on case to case basis to the needy deserving patients.

Details of the Trustees

1) Mr. R. Radhakrishnan : He is a Chemical Engineer who has worked in Oil & Gas Industry and has taught for 10 yrs Chemical Engineering in a Mumbai University College. At present he is the President of the Trust. ( Phone No. 9224284929 )

2) Mrs. Lalitha Radhakrishnan: She is a post graduate in Physics, self employed and Secretary of the Trust.

3) Brigadier Dharamprakash: He has retired from the Army and at present the Vice President of the Trust.

4) Mr. Raghavan Srinivas: He is a Chartered Accountant and an expert in indirect taxes and is the Treasurer of the Trust.

5) Mr. Rajesh Grover : He is a self made businessman and is the Joint Treasurer of the Trust.

6) Dr. Rahul Patoria: He is an Opthalmic Surgeon and is the Joint Secretary of the Trust.

7) Mr. Ganesh Ramaswamy: He is a retd. Bank Manager, holds a Masters in Financial Management. He is at present a Trustee of the Trust.

8) Mr. Abid Nagaria:  He is a Chartered Accountant and an expert in Direct Tax. He is at present a Trustee of the Trust.

9) Mr. Anil Kartha : His specialization is in Pharmaceuticals and is at present a Trustee of the Trust.

    आपले राधाकृष्णन मेमोरियल ट्रस्ट चे कार्य समाजासाठी प्रेरणादायी आहे. आपण नेहमीच गरीब गरजू विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी त्यांच्या शैक्षणिक व सामाजिक प्रगतीसाठी मदतीचा हात पुढे करता. आपण जो मदतीचा हात पुढे केला त्यामुळे कित्येक विद्यार्थ्यांचे आयुष्य घडले. शैक्षणिक शिष्यवृत्ती देणे, विविध शाळांमध्ये जाऊन शिक्षण देणे, विद्यार्थ्यांना गणवेश देणे, विद्यार्थ्यांच्या गरजेच्या वस्तू देणे, आपत्ती काळात सामाजिक जाणिवेचे भान ठेवून आपत्तीग्रस्तांना मदत देणे, कोरोना संकटकाळात लॉक डाऊन च्या काळात गरीब गरजू लोकांना अन्नधान्य जीवनावश्यक वस्तू पुरवणे इत्यादी अनेक कार्यांमध्ये राधाकृष्ण मेमोरियल ट्रस्ट व स्वतः आपण नेहमीच पुढे राहता.
    मी माझे स्वतःचे उदाहरण सांगतो माझ्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी शालेय गणवेश नाही हे तुम्ही ओळखलं आणि लगेच कोणताही विचार न करता मुले आणि मुली यांसाठी गणवेशाची व्यवस्था केली. विद्यार्थ्यांची शैक्षणिक गुणवत्ता वाढावी म्हणून शिष्यवृत्ती देणे तसेच विज्ञान व तंत्रज्ञानात आवड निर्माण व्हावी म्हणून विज्ञान विषय प्रयोग त्याबाबत मार्गदर्शन करणे स्वतः आपल्या सहकाऱ्यांबरोबर प्रत्येक विद्यार्थ्यांची काळजी घेणे असे कार्य आपणाकडून होते.
    सर, हे कार्य आपण निस्वार्थी वृत्तीने करता त्यामुळे आपल्या चेहऱ्यावर नेहमीच आनंद दिसतो. गरीब गरजू विद्यार्थ्यांना स्नेह देणे त्यातच आपल्याला समाधान वाटते. आपण नेहमी आनंदी असता त्यामुळे आमच्या सारख्यांना प्रेरणा मिळते. सर हे मी लिहीत आहे ते फक्त मला माहित असलेल्या कार्याबाबत आपले कार्य हे यापलीकडे आहे. सर आपल्याकडून त्याग, दातृत्व, समाधान, आपुलकी, सहकार्याची भावना, निस्वार्थ वृत्ती, सामाजिक बांधिलकी, संकटग्रस्तां बाबत असलेली तळमळ या व यांसारखे अनेक गुण घेण्यासारखे आहेत. आपणासारख्या व्यक्तीमत्वा कडून अनेक गोष्टी शिकता आल्या त्याबद्दल मी आपले आभार मानतो . आपल्या कार्यामुळे आपण चिरतरुण आहात व चिरतरुण रहाल ईश्वर आपल्याला यापेक्षा मोठी कार्य करण्याचे बळ देवो तसेच शासनाने सुद्धा आपल्या कार्याची दखल घेऊन आपल्याला व आपल्या संस्थेला सन्मानित करावं अशी मी इच्छा व्यक्त करतो.

I am really thankful and will never forget the help you did to us.. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 My father died of cancer on 8th May 2020. My mother is a housewife.I have a younger brother studying in class 3rd.I study in class 12th and have secured 94% in my 10th boards. Whenever I earn I would really like to help the trust so that the trust can help many more children like us. There are no words that can give justice to the help you did to us.. May God bless Sir with long and healthy life.

  9. आदरणीय सर राधाकिशनं और आपकी पत्नी ट्रस्ट द्वारा जो पुण्य का काम कर रहे है वो बोहोत ही प्रेरणा दायी है. आपके इस महान कार्य की वजह से बोहोत से बुद्धिमान किंतु आर्थिक वजह से जो विद्यार्थी शिक्षा प्राप्त नाही कर सकते उनका भविष्य आपने उज्ज्वल किया है. मै वर्षा अभिजीत मोरे अपना अनुभव जाताना चाहती हू. इस कोरोना के संकट मै मेरे पती की आठ माई को कॅन्सर की वजह से मौत हो गयी. मै गृहिणी हू. इस संकट की घडी मै सर और ट्रस्ट ने मेरे दोनो baccho की फीस भरणे मै मेरी मदत की. मै उनकी हमेशा शुक्रागुजार राहुंगी. ईश्वर सर और उनकी पत्नी को अछी सेहत और लांबी आयु प्रदान करे.

    मी गुंडू रामचंद्र परब, रबाळे येथील रहिवाशी आहे. मला तीन मुली आहेत. मिलन परब (S Y Bcom), मिनल परब (FY BA) आणि निलम परब (12th) शिकत आहेत. मी वायरमन म्हणून काम करतो. पगार निश्चित नसतो. कोरोना सुरू झाल्यापासून तर काम मिळेनासे झाले आहे. आर्थिक परिस्थिती अत्यंत हालाखीची आहे. मला मुलीचे शिक्षण करणे शक्य झाले नसते जर मला श्रीराम राधाकृष्णन मेमोरियल ट्रस्ट ची मदत मिळत नसती. आज माझ्या मुली शिकतात ते केवळ ट्रस्ट च्या मदतीमुळे. माझे कुठुंब ट्रस्टचे खुप आभारी आहे.
