Vasheni Village, Uran, 23rd Sept. : Handed over a set of 35 plates/glasses/spoons to the children of two Anganwadis ( out of three). Previously we had provided similar facility to the children of one of the three Anganwadis.
Also handed over, courtesy Rekha Srikar, stuffed and other toys to the children.
The village Sarpanch was also present.
Anganwadi at Vasheni village: There are 30 children at one of the three Anganwadis in the village. Distributed steel lunch plates & glasses, toys, building blocks, crayons, drawing books, etc to the Anganwadi. The Trust was represented by Radhakrishnan and Lalitha. Radhakrishnan’s brother, Ramachandran, also joined the visit to the village.
We had a great time. The Sarpanch of the village, Jeevan Gawande, was present.
All the items will be kept in the Anganwadi to be used by the children.
I wish to thank all the students and the parents for coming forward to help these children .
We plan to work further in this village for the overall development of the village.
