Dear Parents, Sons, and Daughters,
Welcome to the site dedicated to the charitable activities of the Trust established in memory of Late Shreeram Radhakrishnan. Shreeram, the beloved son of Mr. Ramaswami Radhakrishnan and Mrs. Lalitha Radhakrishnan, departed from this world on December 3, 2012, after a brief but impactful journey. The first eighteen years of Shreeram’s life brought happiness and joy to everyone he met. Unfortunately, the last eighteen months of his life were marked by extreme suffering, the likes of which one would not wish upon even their worst enemy.
History of the Trust : The Trust was incorporated on October 23, 2013, to honour Shreeram’s memory and to carry forward his legacy. The first charitable activity under the Trust was conducted in January 2014.
Activities of the Trust : The Trust engages in various charitable activities aimed at improving the lives of those in need. Each activity is carried out with the intention of spreading joy and compassion, much like Shreeram did during his life.

Why help the not-so-fortunate?
Assisting the less fortunate benefits both the recipients and helpers. We must make the most of our time on this planet and use our power to make a positive impact on others. Helping the underprivileged eases their struggles and shows that we care about their well-being. Those with more resources have a responsibility to help the less fortunate, and contributing to the betterment of society is our duty. When we all do our part, we can make a significant impact on the world we live in. The Public Charitable Trust was established in memory of Shreeram with the intention of providing assistance to those in need. By doing so, we can inspire others to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Helping the less fortunate creates a more compassionate and caring society for all.
If after our death we were to meet God, God will not ask us what wealth we accumulated during our journey on the earth but he surely will ask – what we did with that wealth? Let us all open our hearts and do our bit. Our bit to make this planet a better place by helping the underprivileged. It is these small bits of help, donations, that have the potential and power of ushering in a transformation. All the activities of our Trust are covered in the website along with some photographs.
Vision
- To enable and sustain the dreams of needy aspiring young minds by providing them financial assistance to pursue their education , opening free coaching centres, Shikshaangans, for the underprivileged students, working towards spreading Science & Computer knowledge amongst the underprivileged, help the needy, empower ladies by conducting Vocational Courses and work towards upgrading Rural Schools.

Mission
EDUCATION :
1) To provide educational financial assistance to the determined less fortunate & underprivileged students of the society and enable them to further pursue their education.
2) To set up Shikshaangans : These are Free Coaching Centres for Underprivileged Students.
3) To start Science & Technology Clubs to inculcate the spirit of scientific enquiry & conducting Competitions( KHOJ).
4) Skill Development – Digital Literacy for the Needy ones.
5)Recognition of Meritorious Students.
6) Upgrading Schools in rural areas.

Helping the Needy :
1) Shree Kalyan Yojana – Relief with Dignity : Financial support to widows, single mothers, and orphans
2) Relief Work for the Poor : Rain protection covers for hutments , Emergency financial support for healthcare or family crises
MEDICAL :
1) Conduct sustained campaigns through the use of Pamphlets, Videos, Street Plays, Competitions, Seminars and through social media to spread the message as well as to urge and motivate people to fight against menace of the spread of Tuberculosis.
2) Provide medical assistance on case to case basis to the needy deserving patients.

Details of the Trustees
1) Mr. R. Radhakrishnan : He is a Chemical Engineer who has worked in Oil & Gas Industry and has taught for 10 yrs Chemical Engineering in a Mumbai University College. At present he is the President of the Trust. ( Phone No. 9224284929 )
2) Mrs. Lalitha Radhakrishnan: She is a post graduate in Physics, self employed and Secretary of the Trust.
3) Brigadier Dharamprakash: He has retired from the Army and at present the Vice President of the Trust.
4) Mr. Raghavan Srinivas: He is a Chartered Accountant and an expert in indirect taxes and is the Treasurer of the Trust.
5) Mr. Rajesh Grover : He is a self made businessman and is the Joint Treasurer of the Trust.
6) Dr. Rahul Patoria: He is an Opthalmic Surgeon and is the Joint Secretary of the Trust.
7) Mr. Ganesh Ramaswamy: He is a retd. Bank Manager, holds a Masters in Financial Management. He is at present a Trustee of the Trust.
8) Mr. Abid Nagaria: He is a Chartered Accountant and an expert in Direct Tax. He is at present a Trustee of the Trust.
9) Mr. Anil Kartha : His specialization is in Pharmaceuticals and is at present a Trustee of the Trust.
