3rd March 2021, Sanitary Napkin Vending Machines: We are thankful for the wonderful gesture of Director General, Directorate General of Valuation, Mumbai, for donating two units of Sanitary Napkin Vending Machines to a Municipal School in Nerul on the 3rd of March. Mr. Sonawane, the Principal of the school, Mr. Nagaraj & Mr. R K Pandey from the Valuation Dept, Lalitha & Radhakrishnan from the Trust were present at the simple handover ceremony. The madam who will be in-charge of the units was also present.

5th March 2021: Donated Guides and Question Bank Books to 60 students studying in 10th standard of Sushma Patil Vidyalya, Kamothe. These are residential needy students coming from various parts of Maharashtra(Jawhar, Wada, Mokhada, Pen, Raigad, Palghar, etc) and staying in a nearby Govt. hostel. The school held a small function where the set of books were handed over.

Student’s English Communication Improvement Programme :As the Marathi medium School children have a big problem communicating in English, we are conducting English Reading Competition for the Marathi medium students. This is an open competition with cash prizes, certificates and medals.Around 70 students are participating. Our instructor at Rabale,Mr. Rahul is conducting the same and is sending the participating students the stories, passages, to prepare and recite. The videos are then sent to Rahulfor evaluation. Initial 4-5 sessions are practice sessions for the children.
The final evaluation will be done on the 1st of January through a live session. This exercise will surely boost the confidence of these students help in putting the children on par with the English medium students. This will be a continuous process.

Thane Shikshaangan : Started the Primary division with 12 children. Amol Jadhav is taking the classes for the children also.

21/11/2020 : Sachi Vyas, an ex-student of Lalitha, got admission to Rural Medical college , Loni. Sachi along with her parents ( Satyendra Vyas and Mrs. Putul Vyas) decided to celebrate the proud moment of getting admission under NEET quota to a Govt. college by interacting with the children & parents of our New Panvel Shikshaangan area. They distributed one blanket to each of the 25 families present. An apt gift with the winter setting in.
