Medical Assistance

We provide medical financial assistance to the needy in our own small way. We assisted in our humble way.. albeit in a small way….

Multi-purpose Wheelchair donated to a needy boy – Sept. 2022. In the comments section down below, you will find the note thanking the Trust from the sister of the boy to whom the Wheelchair was given.

2021- 2022

Hearing Aids: Ankesh Thakur, 23 yrs old, son of a building watchman has a very low level of hearing capability since birth. As a result he cannot converse. Through hard work he managed to clear 12th boards from Bihar. In order to possibly give a new lease of life to him, our Trust got his ears tested and provided him with the best hearing aids from Oticon. We are thankful to Vinoo Raina from Oticon for getting the tests carried out and providing hearing aids at a subsidized rate. The boy is finding the hearing aids a great blessing and is picking up words at a good pace. We hope and pray that the boy is able to lead a normal life as a result.

2018-2019….

Rs. 25,000/- for a Liver transplant patient.

Rs. 25,000/- for a lady who had premature delivery ( 26 weeks)…baby is fine.

Rs. 25,000/- for a boy who suffered massive head injury in a road accident.

2017 : Around 9.30 pm of the 4th of May the Whatsapp groups were busy forwarding messages – We need financial help. A 26 yr old boy, Shezad Mulla, has met with a hit and run accident while travelling as a pillion rider on a motorcycle. Shezad is to be operated upon tomorrow .

We also got the message – ‘Can your Trust help the boy? The operation has to be done tomorrow(5th) and the funds are needed to be arranged urgently. We, Shezad’s friends, have managed to collect around Rs. 30,000/- and need approx. Rs. 110,000/- more’. On receiving the request and considering the urgency of the situation, our Trustees immediately agreed to help the boy so that a young boy’s life is not left in the lurch for lack of funds. A cheque for Rs. 100,000/-, issued in the name of the hospital ( Tejveedant, Koparkhairane), was immediately handed over to the family of the boy on the 4th night itself.

After the operation Shezad was discharged a few days later. Our Trust is happy that we could be of help. Our Trust believes – Giving is Life. We thank our well wishers once again.

Three other very needy patients were provided financial assistance to the tune of Rs. 75,000/-

2016 : Medical Assistance : A Cheque for Rs. 20,000/- was handed over to the father of Master Aymaan Shaikh who is suffering from Nephrotic Syndrome with Renal failure. The small help from our side is to meet a small part of the expense for kidney replacement of Aymaan. The operation will be done in Lilavati Hospital. The help was made possible by the contribution from an anonymous donor ( Ex MGM Student).

May God bless Aymaan with a long life.

  1. My brother, Pranav Aghav, 15 yrs. old, is a special child having permanent profound intellectual disability. He cannot perform his daily activities on his own, with increasing age, his weight is also increasing and it had become difficult for us to carry out his daily activities and to take him out for routine check-ups and to get some fresh air. Shreeram Radhakrishnan Memorial Trust helped us with a “Recliner cum Commode Crest Series” wheelchair from Kosmocare of worth Rs. 18,890. It has now become a little easier for us to carry out his daily routines and to take him out. We are extremely thankful and grateful to Radhakrishnan Sir and to the Trust for their kind help. Radhakrishnan Sir and the Trust is doing a highly commendable job of helping the needy people. May god bless you all with a long and healthy life.
    Thank You!
