Khandeswar Shikshaangan: This Shikshaangan was started in the month of August 2022 and is located at Khandeswar. A Shikshaangan is a free coaching centre for the underprivileged students. It is in a Basti comprising 30 hutments. Around 25 children from the Basti attend the Shikshaangan classes. The location is about a kilometre from Khandeswar railway station.
This Shikshaangan is run in memory of Mrs. Manju Kaushik, wife of Mrs. Anil Kaushik. This Shikshaangan will be financially supported by the family of Mr. Anil Kaushik. Our deepest thanks to the family for keeping the memory of Mrs. Manju Kaushik alive through such a noble endeavour which will benefit a large number of underprivileged children staying in huts which don’t have power and water.

As the hutment area does not have power, we have installed Solar powered lighting system in the Shikshaangan Classroom ( two fans, two fans and charging points). The short video below shows the installation and the last two images captures very well the joy and the awe of the students.
Holi Celebrations
The students were taken to the nearby Circus on the 26th of November. Our instructor, Mrs. Jayshree, and two parents accompanied the children. They enjoyed some snacks also. It was the first time in their lives that they had been to see any performance. During the classes they have learnt different animals and now they want to go to the Zoo to see the different animals. We will organize the same for the children.

October 2022 : Many of the children are exposed to proper study material for the 1st time. Before the start of the class, the instructor, Mrs. Jayshree makes the children do some exercises. The wonderful thing is that all the children are really interested to study.
Inauguration of Shikshaangan: We inaugurated our Khandeswar Shikshaangan on the 16th of August 2022.
The inauguration of the Shikshaangan was carried out by Anil Kaushik and the local Corporator, Mr. Manoj Bhujbal. Mrs. Vrushali Magdum from Stree Mukti along with their representatives were present. Radhakrishnan & Mrs. Lalitha from the Trust were present. Mr. Sharma, the C0-brother of Anil Kaushik also graced the occasion.
