KHOJ 3, Shortlisted Projects – Senior Category

The Projects of the following students/teams were shortlisted for the final round in Senior Category which was held on the 20th of June. The process involved online evaluation of the projects and interview of the students by three eminent judges. The names of the winners follow after the videos the shortlisted candidates.

This final evaluation was successfully completed on the 20th of June 2021. Evaluation of the 10 shortlisted projects were carried out by the three judges online– the students explained their projects & were asked questions by the judges.

The judges then got together and decided the winners. Later the judges interacted with all the shortlisted students during the Prize Announcement Session, explained to them the process of judgement, encouraged & motivated them, and then announced the results. It is worth mentioning that as stated by the judges, the judgement process was a difficult one as all the students had put in their best and all had done great justice to their projects.

All the students will receive participation certificates and the winners will receive Merit Certificates.

The Winners of the Juniors’ Online All India Science & Technology Competition are :

1)The First Prize of ₹ 10,000/- was bagged by Smaran Rajagopal, a 9th Standard student from Padma Seshadri Bala Bhanvan Siruseri, Chennai.

2) The Second Prize of ₹ 6,000/- was bagged by Krish Rahul Padghan, a 9th Standard student of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation School Number 18, Sanpada.

3) The Third Prize  was shared by two participants — Amatullah Shabbir Kayyumi a 10th std. student & Mudakar Gopal Iyengar a 9th std. student. Both are from Podar International School CBSE Nerul. Both  received a prize money of ₹ 2,000/- each.  

4) The Team of Sadhna Chandarkant Mhaske ( 9th std.) & Rohit Sanjay Karanda( 7th std.) were awarded a Special Prize by the judges. They received a cash award of ₹ 1,500/-

5) As all the students had done their projects extremely well and answered very well the questions posed to them by the judges, it was decided to award all the other finalists Consolation Prizes, which includes Certificate and ₹ 1,000/- each.
