Meritorious Awards

We started with recognizing two CBSE Toppers from Apeejay School, Nerul, where Shreeram studied. For the past three years we are also recognizing meritorious students from NMMC Schools.

One of the Objectives of our Trust is to recognize and Award Meritorious students. Two Awards have been instituted by our Trust in memory of Shreeram Radhakrishnan, one for Academic Excellence and the other for All Round Performance, both for the 12th Standard, CBSE Board students. Apeejay School,Nerul, has been selected as this is the School from where Shreeram Radhakrishnan completed his studies and it is also one of the top schools of Navi Mumbai.

This is the 7th Year in succession of Meritorious Awards(Cash Prize and Certificate) being awarded to two 12th passed students of Apeejay School, Nerul. 

For the academic year 2018-19, the Awards were handed over during the School’s Prize Distribution Day. 

The Award for Academic Excellence was won by Mridula Subramanyan & that for All Round Performace by Kanishk Goswami (Kanishk’s mother accepted the award on his behalf). 

We are very grateful to Mrs Namita Anand Gopalan, the Vice Principal of the School, for extending her full support to the Trust for this activity.

Meritorious Students award, 21st January 2019 : The awards for the previous Academic session were given during the School Prize Distribution Day held on the 21st of January. Both the awardees ( represented by their parents) were handed a Merit Certificate and a cheque of Rs. 5,001/-.

1) Academic Excellence – Master Debajyoti Dasgupta; 2) All Round Performance – Master Devang Dhal.

The Trust was represented by Mrs. Lalitha Radhakrishnan and Sandhya, Shreeram’s  sister.

From the academic year ending 2019, we started recognizing meritorious students from two NMMC Schools in Nerul.

Jan 2018 Meritorious Awards : The awards for the Academic session 2016-2017 were given during the School Prize Distribution Day held on the 19th of January 2018. Both the awardees ( represented by their parents) were handed over Excellence Certificates and cheques for Rs. 5,001/- each.

1) Academic Excellence – Miss Aashita M. Pillai ; 2) All Round Performance – Miss Sharayu P. Shejale

The awards for the Academic session 2015-2016 were given during the School Prize Distribution Day held on the 19th of January 2017. Both the awardees ( represented by their mothers) were handed a Meritorious Certificate and the cheque of Rs. 5,001/-.

1) Academic Excellence – Miss Sidisha Shyam Barik ; 2) All Round Performance – Master Neel Kapoor

The awards to the two students from Apeejay School, Nerul, for the Academic year 2014-2015 were given during the School Prize Distribution Day held on the 8th of January 2016. During the function we handed over the meritorious certificate and the cheque of Rs. 5,001/- to each of the awardees.The names of the students are : 1) Academic Excellence – Master Arpan Banerjee 2) All Round Performance – Master Aman Deep Borthakur.

The awards to two students from Apeejay School, Nerul, for the Academic year 2013-2014 were given on the 9th of January 2015 during the School Prize Distribution Day. The names of the students are : 1) Academic Excellence – Master RISHI VANUKURU ; 2) All Round Performance – Master R. S. NIKHIL KRISHNA.
