New Panvel Shikshaangan : This is the third Shikshaangan of our Shikshaangan of our Trust. 25 children from different standards are part of the Shikshaangan. Mr. Ajit Khattal is the instructor.

4th May 2022 : Games for the children



16/03/2021: Mr. Sankaran accompanied the Trustees Lalitha & Radhakrishnan. After welcoming the children with chocolates, handed over the financial assistance cheques to the eligible students. Our thanks to the invisible donors with whose help we have been able to help 170 students with a total assistance of 16 lakhs ( academic year 2020-2021). There are still pending applicants who will helped as the schools start asking the students to pay up the fees.
Our thanks to Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust for donating 450 story books in English to our Trust for donating to the children of our Shikshaangans. Of these we distributed around 50 story books to the children of New Panvel Shikshaangan.
The students are working on a project to prepare tar roads incorporating plastic waste. Sankaran, a Civil Engineer, clarified the doubts of the students and expressed his happiness at the great effort put in by the children to participate in the Online All India Science & Tech Competition.










COVID-19 Awareness Campaign: Made families aware of how COVID-19 spreads, Hand-washing Procedure thru’ Demonstration and Distributing Soaps to the families. A total of 130 families were covered.
Prof. Dr. Ranjan Bannerji has started teaching the students of this Shikshaangan, Science, Maths & English. This will be in addition to the regular evening classes for the children. Our sincere thanks to Dr. Bannerji for coming forward to further the cause of our Trust.


Celebrated the birthday of a well-wisher’s son (Arnav). We also distributed Hoodies and Jackets to the 25 children (10 Hoodies for senior students were provided by Valuation dept., Govt. of India). Jackets for 50-60 odd students, including New Panvel, are being sponsored by Raghavan & Anil Kartha.
During the regular visit on 25/09/19 to the New Panvel Shikshaangan, the children handed over a beautiful Diwali Greeting Card they had prepared to the Trust. Please have a look to appreciate the beauty of the card.
Diwali ( 2019 ) was celebrated with the children of the Shikshaangan by Sneha(cousin of Shreeram) and her husband Pratik. Aong with the usual bursting of crackers, sharing snacks, the Centre was provided a table fan and a carrom board.

2019 : There are 20 students at New Panvel Shikshaangan now. The instructor is Mr. Shirish Gejage. A temporary place has been rented in Bhim Nagar, sector 3, for the classes.

A belated New Year was celebrated with the children of New Panvel Shikshaangan in the month of February. Gifts from the Staff of Dheeraj Realty ( a number of Board games.. Like Speller, Pictureka, etc) and toys, building blocks and dresses from Lalitha’s students were distributed to the children. The Trust was represented by Radhakrishnan.





Diwali Celebration…3rd November 2018: Diwali Celebration was celebrated at New Panvel Shikshaangan ( Bhim Nagar) 3rd Nov.. Pratik and Sneha (Sneha is Shreeram’s cousin) took the lead and made the day a grand one for the children. The Instructor Mr. Sirish was there for the celebration. The children gave wonderful performances ( dances, Plays and speeches), lit the traditional Diwali lamps and enjoyed the sparklers. Then the children were given snack boxes. Pratik and Sneha went to the 25 houses of the village (of the children ) and handed over Diwali sweet boxes to them.
