Vocational Courses : Auto Driving ; Tailoring ; Microsoft Office ;Beautician; Mehendi
The addition of vocational courses such as auto driving, tailoring, beautician, and mehendi to our program is aimed at providing our female beneficiaries with practical skills that can help them earn additional income. By equipping them with these skills, we hope to empower them to take control of their lives and feel a sense of upward mobility within society. Some of these women may even become proud owners of their own autos, start their own tailoring shops or beauty parlors, or use their newly acquired computer skills to secure better employment opportunities. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that these women can provide for themselves and their families, and no longer have to rely solely on financial assistance.
Our Trust has taken up the initiative of a computer literacy drive aimed at underprivileged college and senior school students. We offer a comprehensive three-month course on Microsoft Office to equip these students with essential skills that will help them to perform better in their academic pursuits as well as provide them with better job opportunities in the future. Through this program, we hope to bridge the digital divide that separates the privileged and underprivileged sections of society and create a more equitable society where everyone has equal access to technology and its benefits.
Vocational Training in Mehendi: A total of 30 students enrolled and completed the course during the pandemic period. We are sure the course will help at least a few of them to make a living. (Mehendi learning classes at Thane Shikshaangan. Miss Kajal was conducting the course).
