Holidays Activities, 2025

May 2025: What we take for granted many a times is something that many others dream of. Distribution of alphonso Mangoes to the Students of our Shikshaangans is one such thing. The happiness on the faces of the children is something that will be cherished.
April 2025: Inculcating Reading Habits Among the Underprivileged Through Storybooks with Moral Values
At the Shreeram Radhakrishnan Memorial Trust, we believe that reading is one of the most powerful tools to shape a child’s mind and character. Unfortunately, many underprivileged children lack access to books and the nurturing environment needed to develop a love for reading.
To bridge this gap, we have introduced storybooks specifically chosen for their engaging narratives and strong moral values. These books not only help children improve their reading and comprehension skills but also instill essential virtues like honesty, kindness, courage, and empathy.
By encouraging regular reading habits, we aim to open up a world of imagination, learning, and ethical grounding—laying the foundation for well-rounded individuals who can grow into responsible citizens. This initiative also creates a positive emotional space for children, helping them escape daily hardships and find inspiration through stories that reflect hope and resilience. A total of 320 books were purchased for the students of the twelve Shikshaangans.
